alrighty. i'm here to update about table tennis camp 2009. overall, i would say it wasn't quite how the organisers expected it to be. but it didn't turn out too bad either, i guess.

so yeahs. tuesday, woke up at like 5.30am. then daddy accompanied me to school. helped me to carry my camp stuffs. hahas. cause i got a lot of things to take. thanks, daddy!:DD reached school at like 6.45am. then mavis came shortly after. then yunjie and charis came. so went to the hall and put our stuffs then headed to put the clues for treasure hunt.

halfway pasting, marcus came and told us that we were not supposed to go to the 3rd level cause they were having a camp. so we went back down and settled all the admin stuffs and waited for everyone to come.

everybody came for the camp!:D so glad lah. hahas. so briefed them about the camp, followed by an opening 'speech' by mr phua. lols. then, we started off our games. double whacko was first, followed by caterpillar, zhong ji mi ma and such. at 10.30am, mr phua and i headed to tiong ntuc for grocery shopping cause he is cooking dinner for us on the first day(:

headed back to school at 11 plus then had lunch with the whole team. had a lil' free time before training. warmed up, then training started. yangling and sarah came to train(: training ended at like 4.30pm. had an hour's break before the next session of training. mr phua bought us donuts!:D after tea break, headed back to the hall for training.

jiao lian left at about 6.30pm while mr kuan stayed back to coach us. had a lil' break then we played a game that we didn't play for like 2 years. lols! it was damn fun lah! it's a kind of game that stimulates your passion, focus and stuffs. for me, at least. LOL. so after that, we had competition. and surprisingly, my gong qiu were all like damn accurate when charis and i doubled against mavis and yun jie.

especially my back hand lah. i was damn high about it too! heh. mr kuan even said i played damn well. WAHHA:DD if only my back hand and always maintain this standard. hahas. it's like after the game, i suddenly 'kai qiao' like that. LOL.

training ended at 8.30pm. everyone headed to the home econs room for spaghetti cooked by mr phua while the organisers: charis, yun jie, mavis and i, went around the whole school pasting the clues for their treasure hunt game.

treasure hunt was delayed by like half an hour cause everyone was enjoying their candle light dinner in the home econs room and eating damn slowly. so treasure hunt started only at 10pm instead of 9.30pm as planned.

so while the rest went to find their clues, the organisers took turns to go and bathe and had our pathetic left over spaghetti dinner at 10 plus, 11 at night): we don't even have a proper candle light dinner like the rest!D:

almost everyone complained that they were very tired. so treasure hunt ended at 11 plus. let everyone go and bathe while the organisers started clearing up the stuffs in the hall. lights out was at 12 plus instead of 11.30pm as planned. debriefed the team about day one while waiting for the stage to be ready. (goh xinyi was mopping the floor. thank you:D) so, the organisers had to wait for everyone to sleep before we can turn in which is about 1am in the morning.

day two, the organisers, together with pei shan and alyssa who were in charge of food woke up at 6.15am. washed up and started to head down to the canteen to prepare the team's breakfast. morning call for the whole team at 7am. they were supposed to report by 7.20am but some only went to wash up at 7.20am.

so breakfast was kinda delayed cause everyone report to the canteen at like 7.30am. after breakfast, cleared up everything in the canteen then prepared for training. charis and i went to see mdm chng to get back our test paper and stuffs. after that, we headed back for training. had competitions. my back hand deproved!): but still, it was better than before. LOL(:

training ended at 12pm. headed down for lunch. after which, we caught a movie at IT room 3. then, we played captain's ball. i didn't join in the game cause there was odd number. charis sprained her ankle while playing captain's ball. charis lim! you better take care of your ankle i tell you. monday still got another match hor.

after captain's ball, we had water bomb(: water bomb wasn't exactly successful. but yeah. everyone went to change to a new set of clothings. then, had team cheer competition, followed by prize presentation. the first group was kappa!(: cheryl's group. then second was adidas, xinyi's group(: third was nike, pei shan's group followed by butterfly, jacquelyn's group.

had a debrief for the whole team regarding the whole camp. i would say that punctuality is a big problem throughout the camp. cause there was always delay here and there. so anyway, break camp at about 6.15pm. the organisers stayed back to settle the last bit of the camp stuffs then home sweet home(: lawrence helped me to flag a cab after camp. hahas. thank you(: came home, dead tired. bathed and unpack my camp stuffs. had dinner then went to sleep alr.

well, camp was overall quite alright. it didn't go exactly as what the organisers planned, but it turned out quite alright in the end. wasn't too bad, i guess. hopefully, everyone more or less enjoyed the camp(:
